Creekside Paradise . . . when you're near it, you'll hear it:

It's quite possible that your road-weary vehicle will turn into the drive all by itself; drawn by the beckoning sounds of the rippling creek, and gentle breezes blowing through the pines; who could resist such enticements?  Neatly tucked away near the end of the road, just beyond the privacy gates separating the rest of the world from your own little piece of Paradise, you'll find as warm and welcoming a log home as you could ever hope for, with a form and fabric that seems to blend right into the wooded setting.  With rustic touches everywhere, from natural creekstone masonry to split rail fencing, you'll feel at one with nature before your feet hit the ground. 

Three cheery little dormers peak out from above the front porch and sturdy stone pillars topped by lanterns light the way up the steps to a deck the spans the entire side and rear of the home.  And that's where it gets even better; the rear deck actually overhangs noisy Swallows Creek, an active GA Trout Stream right outside your doorstep!  You don't even have to leave the deck to catch dinner!   You'll cross over the creek by a charming little footbridge that leads from the rear deck to a wonderful flagstone patio area complete with a stacked stone open-hearth fireplace (or Dutch Oven) for grilling or cooking.  Just off the side of the house is a fire pit area for toasting marshmallows, re-telling old stories and making new memories together.  If skies look threatening, we’ve got you covered, there’s a handy little pavilion with charcoal grill and picnic table and benches for dining out of doors in all kinds of weather.  Or you may choose to dine on the rear deck under the stars, accompanied by the ever-present chorus of chirping birds with crickets singing backup over the melodic rushing creek.  Complete the Paradise effect, with just the flip of a switch and watch the hillside and creek light up all around.

There's as much to enjoy indoors as well with all the appeal of a gentlemen's hunting lodge, softened just a little and tastefully decorated with a woman's touch.  Richly toned area rugs with rustic design compliment the supple leather couch and inviting high-back rockers on either side of the massive stone fireplace with raised hearth and natural tree trunk mantel.  Just off to the side is the dining area overlooking the creek and sharing the glow of the fireplace within, on wintery nights.  The kitchen weighs in with its own bragging rights, sporting a stunning array of natural birch wood cabinets, granite countertops and state of the arts appliances in shiny black contrast to the recessed & under-counter ambient lighting.  The floors and Cathedral ceilings are natural hardwood, and the windows are dressed in matching wooden blinds throughout.  

There are 2 bedrooms on the main level, each with a King sized bed.  The full bath just across the hall from one of the bedrooms, is also convenient for guests to use, while the Master Suite, located at the far end of the hall with his & hers closets, King sized bed, and a 40" flat-screened HD/TV, has its own full bath with a separate entrance from the garage area. We should note that there is no bath tub at Creekside Paradise.  Some would say Paradise is an every ready shower!

Upstairs is the family room with another gas log fireplace, wet bar, a 46” flat screen HD/TV with surround sound & auxiliary speakers, and a large table and chairs perfect for family games or puzzles.  The King Suite with full sized bath on this level highlights a 3rd stacked stone gas log fireplace of its own, a stunning view of the creek, and also has a second entrance from the outside and garage.  

Nothing has been spared in the thoughtful planning of this luxurious log home, from its private, sequestered setting to the provision for a weary road-warrior to park his beloved RV with handy hook-ups and separate entrances from the garage, you're sure to find that your every need has been anticipated and met . . . Creekside Paradise FOUND!
