This exceptional town house has a warm and welcoming atmosphere of elegance and good taste, family style, cozy furnishings, and fantastic surroundings of the mountains and lake.

The house is large, open and airy with lots of windows to let in the sunlight and show off the distant mountain views. The house accommodates 8 guests and there is ample room for all with 2 bedrooms and 2 full baths, as well as a sleeping sofa. The fully equipped kitchen features rich wood cabinetry, and everything you’ll need to cater to a hungry crowd. Brand new 4 burner electric stove has just been installed 2011.

There’s plenty of room for relaxation and conversation throughout the house with 2 sitting areas, as well as lavish furnishings on the inside and out. The king sized bed and master suite adds more charm and comfort to this already exceptionable lovely home. The ample seating room throughout the home allows plenty of places for intimate conversations and interactions with the whole family.

After enjoying a meal with the family, you’ll want to decide where you’ll have a nice glass of wine; rather if it’s next to the floor to ceiling stone gas log fireplace in the dining area, or if it’s outside amongst the beautiful scenery of the lake and mountains.

But let’s face it, if you decide this is your mountain destination, your coming here for the water. Imagine sitting out on the covered back porch reading your favorite book while enjoying the cool breezes and sounds of the majestic Lake Chatuge. Here on the covered porch you can enjoy cooking out on the gas grill and dining outdoors while watching the sun set over the distant mountains and gorgeous water.

Once you’ve settled in, you’ll want to explore all the little lagoons and islands on lovely Lake Chatuge and maybe try your luck at feeding the fish with a rod and reel. Your own private dock is just outside your back door and allows you to tie up a boat or some jet skis, as well as a place where the kids can go swimming and fishing; a place where everyone will enjoy running and jumping off into a canning ball, splashing out on the water. Hiawassee Hilton is your simple but luxurious mountain getaway destination; a place where family fun and adventures are right outside your back door. Dock was replaced in 2011.

Area Attraction: Here you are only minutes away from everything. There is shopping, entertainment, and a wide variety of resauarants to choose from; with everything from Italian Cuisine to Mexican, and antying from Asian to good Ol' BBQ. For the golfers in your family, there are 4 beautiful mountain golf courses within only miles from where you are. For the hikers, the Appalachian Trail traverses through the area as well. Brasstown Bald, the highest peak in Georgia, is in Blairsville about 15 miles away. For outdoor adventures, there is boating, whitewater rafting, fishing, skiing, and tubing on Lake Chatuge, or exploring the many cascading waterfalls within a short distance. Here in Hiawassee the family can enjoy fun games of laster tag at Fun World or attend one of the popular events at the Georgia Mountain Fairground - from the Hiawassee Festival of Arts to the Georgia Mountain Roots and Music Festival. Don't forget about the 2 local vineyards around you, where you can enjoy tastings and more!
