HUMMINGBIRD HAVEN

With a warm "Hummingbird Haven" flag to greet you as you; you will know that you have arrived at a restful place for both body and soul.  Toasty warm wood grain showing up in every room to complete that cabin look and feel but never deny you the conveniences and comforts of home sweet home.  Winter or Summer there is nothing like a floor to ceiling stone fireplace to warm your hands and warm your hearts - even in the Summer when there is no fire it serves as a majestic anchor and safe haven for everyone to gather around for friendly conversation and good times.

With two bedrooms and two baths this vacation destination allows room for 4 non-smoking adults. When you are ready for the great outdoors just exit to the deck and don't be afraid to take a long deep breath of fresh air to start your day or relax your evenings.

You can almost feel the water as you sit on the porch and watch it rush past on it's way to another soul in need of a reminder to stop and notice the things around us. 

You will discover this hide-a-way was given it's name for a purpose.  With nature all around you're bound to enjoy the chance encounter or visit from one of our smallest flying friends.  Should you hear the sound of a bee buzzing near you don't panic.  Resist the urge to swat - if may not be a bee at all but rather the sound of the fluttering wings of the Hummingbird taking a closer look at the strange two legged creature in its territory.  Enjoy the mesmerizing flight as it hoovers, flys backwards and forwards, and then in the twinkling of an eye it is up - - up - - up - - and gone!

As with all of our vacation destinations they are picked with you in mind.  Providing you with the perfect balance of privacy and solitude yet conveniently located so you can decide for yourself if you want to leave the haven of your retreat to visit the festivals and activities going on in town; enjoy swimming, boating, water sports, or just relaxing on or near the Lake; or enjoy everything from a hike up to the obsservation tower on our tallest spot in Georgia on the top of Brasstown Bald to a hike on the famous Appalachian Trail!
